Generous studio spaces back then…and sporting a ‘lockdown’ hair style it seems…

I am posting the painting each day through to my birthday on SUNDAY 6TH JUNE, 2021 representing each year of my practice as a painter.  I’ve chosen 1971 as the starting point for the reason already stated – the first full year of Diploma training at Falmouth.  And here I am in the studio at the time.  At the time of each posting this blog isl saying something about the work of that period and occasionally show related images…

I’ve had a lot of fun putting this together, it’s sparked some great memories and a few sadnesses, and I hope that you may find it of interest too.
